BRFL announces new tournament series on Barren River Lake, starting March 19

The Barren River Fishing League (BRFL) has announced a new tournament series on Barren River Lake. The series will have seven events, plus an end-of-the-year Classic.
Organizers have plans to make it an annual event.
The tournament, which will host a five fish limit, already has 25 teams signed to participate in the tournament’s inaugural season.
Payouts for each tournament are expected to extend beyond the traditional 1st, 2nd and 3rd, possibly up to six and eight places.
Membership in the BRFL is $2o per person. Tournament fees are $60 per (two person) team.
Teams must fish five of the seven tournament events to compete in the end-of-the-year Classic.
The initial boat draw is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28, at 6:30 p.m., at the Allen County Courthouse in Scottsville.
