Port Oliver ribbon-cutting, grand opening postponed due to rainfall, rising water

   Due to rainfall over the last few weeks, projected rainfall for this week and subsequent rise in the level of Barren River Lake, the Corps of Engineers has announced the postponing of the ribbon cutting ceremony by U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell and grand opening of the Port Oliver Recreation Area, that was scheduled for Wednesday, April 27.
   The ceremony will be rescheduled to a future date.
