Ladies Golf Clinic scheduled May 22-23 at Barren River Lake State Park Golf Course

Barren River Lake State Park Golf Course will host a Ladies Golf Clinic Sunday and Monday, May 22-23, from 5-7 p.m. at the course. The clinic is limited to 16 ladies. The cost is $40. To register, call the park’s Pro Shop at 270-646-4653 or 1-800-295-1876.

Glasgow Highland Games scheduled June 3-5 at Barren River Lake State Park

The 2011 Glasgow Highland Games are scheduled for June 3-5 at the Barren River Lake State Park. This year’s games include the Celtic Fest on the square in Glasgow, the traditional Ceilidh, a golf tournament, athletic events, and vendors, plus musical entertainment, as well as the annual Tartan Ball and the Rockin’ Under the Stars Concert.
