2011 Big Bass Classic on July 30 will benefit American Heart Association

   The Southern Kentucky Bassmasters 2011 Big Bass Classic, to benefit the American Heart Association, will be July 30-31 on Barren River Lake. This is the club’s 30th annual charity benefit for the American Heart Association.
   The Classic will start at 6 p.m., on Saturday, July 30, and conclude Sunday, July 31, at 2 a.m. Start and weigh-in will be from the ramp at the Barren River Lake State Park.
   Fishermen can expect a $6,000 payout, based on a field of 175 participants.
   Big fish money will be every hour from 6 pm. to 2 a.m. The big fish each hour will be worth $350; second biggest fish each hour $225; third biggest fish each hour $125; and the biggest fish of the tournament will be worth $400.
   Entry fee is $50 per angler. Fishermen may register at Ranger Bob’s or after 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, at the state park ramp.
