Mussels and scallops added to Sept. 8 Seafood Buffet menu at state park

   Steamed mussels and scallops have been added to the Sept. 8 Seafood Buffet menu at the Barren River Lake State Resort Park’s Driftwood Restaurant in the Louie B. Nunn Lodge. The Seafood Buffet will be served from 5-9 p.m.
   The state park hosts a seafood buffet every second Thursday of the month.
   On the buffet will be:
– Full Salad Bar
– Steamed mussels and scallops in lemon wine sauce
– Snow Crab Legs with butter sauce
– Fried Shrimp
– Fried Oysters
– Peel ‘n Eat Shrimp
– Fried Clams
– Baked Cod
– Fried Catfish
– Clam Chowder
– Variety of vegetables
– Complete Dessert Bar
   And, for the non-seafood eaters, the buffet will also have:
– Grilled bourbon pork chops
– Chicken Marsala
   Everything above, including drink, will be $22.95, tax and tip not included.
