Halloween fun this weekend for Barren River Lake State Park and Bailey’s Point

   A weekend of Halloween fun is set for Friday, Oct. 14- Sunday, Oct. 16,  at the Barren River Lake State Park and the Bailey’s Point campgrounds.
Barren River Lake State Park “Spooktacular” Weekend
   The Barren River Lake State Park campground will host a “Spooktacular” weekend, Friday, Oct. 14- Saturday, Oct. 15, where the ghosts and goblins take over the campground.
   There will be costume contests for all ages, pumpkin roll contests, tie-dye Boo-danas, trick-or-treating, and a variety of other activities for ghouls of all sizes.
   On Saturday night, gather around the campfire, if you dare, for scary stories and spooky songs with John Tierney.
   Campers, don’t forget to bring candy for trick-or-treating.
   This “Spooktacular” is open to the public, whether camping or not.

Bailey’s Point Campground “Spooktacular Halloween Celebration”
   The Bailey’s Point Campground “Spooktacular Halloween Celebration” will be Friday, Oct. 14- Sunday, Oct. 16.
   The campground will be showing a movie, having a pumpkin carving contest and a decorate your campsite contest.
   And, trick-or-treating!
   Reserve your campsite, so you can be a part of this event.
   This event is limited to campers at Bailey’s Point Campground.
