Barren River Lake campgrounds are accepting reservations for season

   These non-seasonal temperatures make me think about Spring, and Spring makes me think about camping, and camping makes me think about making reservations for my favorite sites around Barren River Lake, before anyone else does.
   The campgrounds, Bailey’s Point, Barren River Lake State Park, Narrows, Tailwater, and Walnut Creek, around Barren River Lake are now accepting reservations.
   Baileys Point Campground, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is the largest campground on Barren River Lake with 201 reservable campsites. It will open Friday, April 20, 2012. For more information on Baileys Point or to make reservations, log on to Baileys Point Campground.
   Barren River Lake State Park Campground has 100 reservable sites. It will open Sunday, April 1, 2012. For more information on the Barren River Lake State Park Campground or to make reservations, log on to Barren River Lake State Park Campground.
   Narrows Campground, operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, offers 86 reservable campsites. It will open Friday, May 4, 2012. For more information on The Narrows Campground or to make reservations, log on to The Narrows Campground.
