Barren River Lake State Park to host a concert, karoke on Saturday, Sept. 1

Barren River Lake State Park will host a concert and karoke on Saturday, Sept. 1, in the Louie B. Nunn Lodge’s Highland Room.
Heath Eric and Molly G will bring their unique combination of roots-rock and authentic Americana to the lodge at 6 p.m., with a sound full of emotion, straight from the heart and all about this journey called life.
Their soulful vocals and smooth harmonies combine with organic acoustic guitar grooves and percussive rhythms to create more passion in a few notes than most folks experience in a lifetime.
All ages will enjoy hearing this duo.
Admission is $5 per person, 10 & under FREE.
Save $3 with a Driftwood Restaurant receipt from Sept. 1.
Now, it is your turn to be a star!
Following the concert, the microphone can be yours, as the room turns to karoke at 7:45 p.m.
Participants are encouraged to sing along to their favorite songs as the words are projected on the big screen so everyone can see (and even sing along).
Or, perhaps, you can tell a good clean joke, perform a magic trick, or get up and dance during the group songs.
With karoke, the stage is yours.
Don’t miss out on this family fun night of singing, games, and FUN!
