Trashmaster Classic, benefit Bass tournament Saturday at Barren River Lake

The 25th annual Trashmaster Classic and the annual Bowling Green Firefighters Association Open Bass Tournament will be this Saturday on Barren River Lake.

Trashmaster Classic
The Trashmaster Classic will be from 8 a.m.-noon.
Volunteers will gather at the ramps at Baileys Point, Beaver Creek, Barren River Lake State Park, the Narrows, Peninsula, and Port Oliver. They will then be shuttled around the lake to pick up trash.
Volunteers are needed to pick up and collect the trash, while pontoon boats are needed to shuttle the volunteers to different shorelines for the cleanup.
All volunteers will be treated to lunch at the Barren River Lake State Park Beach and will have the opportunity to win door prizes.
The Trashmaster’s Classic lakeshore cleanup is sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Friends of Barren River Lake & Park, and Kentucky State Parks.
