25th Trashmaster Classic a success as 352 volunteers collect 554 bags of trash

   The 25th annual Trashmaster Classic on Barren River Lake was another success thanks to the work of the 352 volunteers who collected trash from the lake Saturday morning.
   The volunteers collected 554 bags of trash from the lake (weight was not available) and 69 tires.
   After four hours of collecting trash, the volunteers enjoyed a picnic at the Barren River Lake State Park Beach, entertainment by Mike Shea and Friends and a variety of door prizes.
   Honors were also presented to the volunteers.
Most Unusual Item: 
   Horse-drawn carriage by Troop/Pack 600.
   Other unusual items found were a gas tank from either a car or a truck by Martin Green and an electric powered toilet bowl brush by Rob Hatcher.
