Barren River Lake level rising

   The Barren River Lake has reached Summer Pool and is continuing to climb.
   This past weekend’s rains, of between 3″-4″ around the Barren River Lake basin, has moved the lake beyond its ideal height of Summer Pool (552 ft.).
   The most current forecast has the lake rising to 562.2 ft. by noon Wednesday, May 1.
   With forecasters calling for more rain the end of this week, the lake is expected to rise even more.

564 ft.- Barren River Lake State Park Golf Course floods.
