Barren River Lake State Park Golf Course hosts PGA Father-Child Championship

   The Barren River Lake State Park Golf Course will host the Kentucky PGA Father-Child Championship Saturday and Sunday, June 22-23.
   This annual event is designed to bring fathers and their children together to play golf, whether it be father-son, father-daughter, father-adult child and, in some cases, their senior child.
   The tournament is played over two days; the first round is a scramble and the second round is a four-ball.
   Several flights- five possible, include Championship, Handicap, Father-Daughter, Professional, and Century (combined age of 100 or older).
   Saturday, the tournament begins with an afternoon shotgun start. After golf teams will be treated to fun activities and summer cookout.
   On Sunday, the tournament concludes with a morning shotgun followed by awards.
   The field is limited to 120 entries. Registration for the tournament is closed.
