Barren River Lake State Park will host the life of “Grandpa Jones” on Jan. 17

   Barren River Lake State Park, together with the Kentucky Chautauqua, will present “Grandpa Jones” at 7 p.m. CT on Friday, Jan. 17, in the park’s Louie B. Nunn Lodge.
The perfomance is free, courtesy of the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc., and Kentucky Chautauqua.
David Hurt portrays the legendary country music performer and comedian.
Learn about the life of Louis Marshall Jones, better known as “Grandpa Jones,” and enjoy an evening of music and comedy along the way.
The Kentucky Humanities Council is a non-profit Kentucky corporation affiliated with the National Endowment for the Humanities. It is not a state agency, but is a proud partner of Kentucky’s Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet.
