Scottsville hosts Boo Bash Oct. 14

Scottsville, just 10 miles south of Barren River Lake, will host its annual fall festival, Boo-Bash, Saturday, Oct. 14, from 4-9 p.m., on the Square. Admission is free.
The event is hosted by the Scottsville-Allen County Chamber of Commerce and the Heart of Scottsville.
The Boo Bash will feature-
– Annual Invasion of the Scarecrows  decorations,
– Local music talent in the Pocket Park just off the Square,
– Halloween story time at the Allen County Public Library,
– Grave Line Tour through the city’s historic cemetery, by the Historical Society,
– Face painting, cotton candy and a popcorn machine by the Up All Night parents,
– Chamber of Commerce annual cake walk,
– Trail of Treats trick-or-treating with local businesses downtown,
– Punkin’ Chunkin’ with the Heart of Scottsville,
– Kid Zone Jumpies,
– Food vendors, including Tooleys, Hot Dog Factory, Tinsley’s Food in the Fast Lane, Wards Chapel, and more to come,
– Coffee Cart with apple cider, hot chocolate, coffee, lattes, and more,
– and, Businesses on the Square will be staying open late through the festival.
