Rhoades, Stone leading T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League Regional Oct. 19-21

Update: Bowling Green, Kentucky’s Tim Rhoades is leading the pro division with a two-day combined catch of 24 lbs. 10 ozs. Jim Stone of Greenwood, Indiana, leads the co-angler division with a two-day combined weight of 20 lbs. 11 ozs.
Weigh-in for the final day, Saturday, Oct. 21, is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Barren River Lake State Park beach (Sunset Cove).

Barren River Lake will host a T-H Marine FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL) Regional Tournament this weekend, Oct. 19-21. The Barren River Lake Regional is one of six BFL Regional Tournaments. The three-day event, presented by Lowrance, will feature the highest-ranked 50 boaters and 50 co-anglers from each of the Buckeye, Great Lakes, LBL, and Michigan BFL divisions.

Take off each day will be from the Port Oliver Recreation Area at 7 a.m. CDT. Weigh-ins Thursday and Friday, Oct. 19-20, will be at Port Oliver, beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday’s final weigh-in, Oct. 21, will be at 4 p.m., at the Barren River Lake State Park Beach (Sunset Cove). Takeoffs and weigh-ins are free and open to the public.

The top six boaters and co-anglers at each regional will advance to one of the longest-running championships in bass fishing – the 2018 BFL All-American, which will be held May 31-June 2 on Cross Lake in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The winning boater will receive a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard and a check for $20,000, while the winning co-angler will receive a new Ranger Z518C with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

The T-H Marine BFL Regional Tournament on the Barren River is hosted by the Glasgow-Barren County Tourist & Convention Commission.
